Brandon Cohen is a multi-instrumentalist, playing the trombone for over 12 years. He picked up the bass to play in a rock band in Beijing, China, where he lived from 2010-14. He named his band after his school’s forgetful music teacher, who promptly reported him to the principal. Despite the original after-school detention, Armstrong Can’t Remember was reborn as a seven-piece psychedelic folk rock band at Berklee College of Music, where Brandon is currently in his fifth semester.
Brandon also co-founded 2254 Records with his high school best friend and fellow prankster Brian Mendez. The label intends to bring together musicians spanning dozens of genres, and create a non-constraining, creative, collaborative and cross-promoting environment to better the lives and careers of his friends and fellow musicians.
Back when Armstrong Can't Remember mostly covered Bon Jovi and tunes from Guitar Hero III. Brandon also collects vinyl records, and tells his mother that every time she thinks about how large his collection is, it multiplies.
